Champ von Chils is a beautiful 11 month old German Shepherd. This sweet goofball with the big ears and chestnut eyes is a sight for sore eyes. He is on the shyer side, until he gets to know you, and then he spends the whole time trying to make you laugh. Champ walks on leash very easily and was very jolly throughout his walk, looking up every so often to flash an impish grin at you. He meets dogs with some reservation but once he is sure that they are friendly, he is happy to walk next to them. Mid-energy Champ is a popular guy here at Westside, everyone who has met him can’t seem to stop talking about him! Champ is an affectionate guy, and loves cuddling with his favorite human. He will dish out as many sloppy kisses as you would let him, and has the goofiest content face when you give him a belly rub. Champ entered his playgroup very shyly, but definitely blossomed while he was in there. After awhile he was all tail wags and silly smiles, playing with the other dogs like he had known them all his life. Champ would benefit from more socialization so that he doesn’t feel like he has to approach other dogs with caution. This wonderful boy is more-than-ready for his forever home - he has so much love to give and hopes that you would give him a chance to show it.
